Please visit the forum!
I've got a long post in the news section, about whether or how we're going to continue LiveWire after the current people leading it, Chris and Karl, leave SC, because the Year 13s won't be here next year! I think its rather important, and it would be good if you could pass the link to the post or a copy of the message by e-mail to any of your friends that you know attend livewire, since I know a lot of people don't actually know much about the website or are part of the forums.

Please Read

Updates: Jan
Daniel will now be helping to update the website because I can't make all the meetings due to activity clashes (Chamber choir, brass band). Very sorry! If anyone else would like to help to update the site (or at least be able to), please e-mail me.

A couple reminders:
1. Updating on the website is not just posting news here. Any insights and thoughts you got at the meeting is also fine. A brief inclusion of what happened at the meeting or what was discussed would also be helpful. If you can spare a few minutes each week to help update it would be appreciated.

2. We DO have a forum. We have both specific boards for prayer and praise, as well as a general board where you can chat and get to know other people who go to LiveWire. Please do use these forums. I am sure that there has to be something you can all be thankful for. Post it on the Praise list. There's nothing too big or too small, an A on your last unit test is every bit as good as a huge event in your life. Also, I doubt we all have perfect lives. If there's anything at all, post it up on the Prayer list and we'll pray for you.

3. Everyone should know by now, try and make it to meetings each Thursday!

Happy New Year: Count your blessings
A bit early since I don't know when i'll be updating again~ Wishing all of you a Happy New Year! Please count the blessings you've had over this year and post them in the Praise List. The Forum was given a makeover to match the website.

We won't spam your e-mail so you can read this here: (Sorry its so long)

If you woke up this morning
with more health than illness,
you are more blessed than the
million who won't survive the week.

If you have never experienced
the danger of battle,
the loneliness of imprisonment,
the agony of torture or
the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of 20 million people
around the world.

If you attend a church meeting
without fear of harassment,
arrest, torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost
three billion people in the world.

If you have food in your refrigerator,
clothes on your back, a roof over
your head and a place to sleep,
you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank,
in your wallet, and spare change
in a dish someplace, you are among
the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If your parents are still married and alive,
you are very rare,
especially in the United States.

If you hold up your head with a smile
on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the majority can,
but most do not.

If you can hold someone's hand, hug them
or even touch them on the shoulder,
you are blessed because you can
offer God's healing touch.

If you can read this message,
you are more blessed than over
two billion people in the world
that cannot read anything at all.

You are so blessed in ways
you may never even know.

Christmas
Umm...firstly congrats to everyone at sports day. A lot of good house spirit from the blue people thanks to their new head of action xD also LGM and royalty. A bit lacking from the other houses but still a good effort overall. Gratz to Tasman.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas. Don't forget its not just about presents at this time of year. The reason we're celebrating is because this was the day Jesus was born. On the other hand, do enjoy your chance to get a bit more than 4 hours of shuteye, but don't completely slack off Y12s, don't (if you can) forget those English Orals.

If you're going somewhere (or been somewhere - depending when you read this) interesting during christmas, you can always post it in the general forum.

i've already received the best present i could get this year ^^ i hope you all do too!

Ben is coming again next week
Today we managed to watch a short bit of veggie tales (due to some unforeseen technical difficulties, but Chris got the projector and sound to work after all) so we'll finish it sometime after Christmas.

Like it says in the title, Ben will be coming again on the 9th, so come along and bring some friends!

and finally, Good Luck to everyone on Sports Day! (GO SCOTT! *hides from the green monster*
